That doesn’t bother me much though, because from the looks of things, I won’t be in school next semester. I won’t get into the details, but I guess that I will know for certain by this weekend. As much as I hate… and I mean grotesquely despise… school, the idea of not being able to go is quite disturbing. Like I feel as if I would actually miss that gigantic pain in the ass that school is to me. Funny. Anyway, I think the biggest factor weighing in on that fact, is cause I know I only have 10 more classes (2 semesters) before my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Did I mention that I would be 50% of the Graduating Class in CS? Yes. The BS degree program at Medgar Evers College is new, and I am on schedule as one of the first two graduates, and the first female graduate at that. What’s worse? It’s the Fall semester… that translates to only my two favorite sports: Volleyball and Basketball. And I mentioned before that this is my senior year as well, so I wanted to go our with a BANG!!!! LOL
But like I said, I guess that I will know by weekend, cause classes start on Friday……
Anyhow, in other news, we have practice everyday this week. The forecast looks bleak so far, cause we have only a couple USEFUL returning players: me and the setter. Everyone else is hit or miss…. Now that I might not even be in school, I’m just looking at these girls in practice and SMMFH! Call me selfish, but if I get to play next season, it’s all about getting my hat-tricks: CUNYAC All-Star, HVWAC All Tournament and NJCU All Tournament. I’m not about to lie to my damn self and fill my head with dilusions of a Championship. That’s way past miracle status, and I think I used up my lifetime’s supply of miracles last season. I predict a very mediocre season, filled with drama and stress, even if I don’t play… as a matter of fact ESPECIALLY IF I DON’T PLAY… yeah I said it!

In other news, preseason training started for the upcoming fall volleyball season. Monday night was the first time in almost six months that I touched a volleyball, or that I TRULY exercised… period. You could only imagine how f^&ked up I feel right now. My EVERYTHING hurts!! lol Seriously, like muscles I forgot about are paining me. Oh well, small price to pay to get back in proper shape. My abs are starting to disappear… and I caan leh dah happen yuh!!!!
Anyway, the season starts in a month and I would really like to play, cause this would be my senior year… but I don’t think that I will be able to. See I am taking all higher level classes and only one section is usually offered for higher level courses because of low enrollment. So basically its “register for this section or don’t take the class at all”… and anyone who knows me KNOWS how much I hate school, so I’m not about to dillydally with my classes and waste time. Anyway, the other problem with higher level classes is that they are usually in the evening to accommodate working students… that conflicts with the volleyball schedule… =( Things are looking kinda bleak in terms of me actually getting to finish off my career. My coach is breathing down my throat “we need you to play Tammy! you know how much the team needs you, especially this year!!” (she says that every year lol)
I don’t know what I’m gonna do if I lose my brother. Yesterday morning he passed out in the shower TWICE… and those damn doctors don’t have the slightest clue….
Today is boring as all hell. I wanted to go get my permit today, but since I was up til 5.30 this morning, that was a bust! lol I was snoring my ass off til around 3 o’ clock this afternoon. Anyway… I’m about to go to school and play some volleyball. Saturday evening the crew from Ruckers were scrimmaging in our gym, hopefully they come back again today cause them dudes can ball they asses of for real. Speaking of Ruckers… Half Man Half Amazing goes to the same college as I do… it would be so cool if he could play on our basketball team, but I doubt that would happen cause it’s against NCAA rules for anyone who gets/has been paid for the sport they play to participate in college level competition… and Half is featured in one of those street hoops video games. Plus they get paid for the whole And1 Mixtape stuff… anyway, I’m out the door.
